REPORTS TO:                                               Senior Architect

EMPLOYMENT STATUS:                                 Full-Time, Exempt

SALARY RANGE:                                          Commensurate with experience.
 

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in residential construction and remodeling

• Proficient in AutoCAD is a must! Please do not apply otherwise. REVIT is a plus

• Must have 2015 IRC knowledge and prior experience preparing residential construction drawings for St. Louis County’s plan review with minimal comments

• Licensed Missouri Architect is a plus but not required

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or related field preferred

• Experience in all phases of the design process from project planning and concepts through construction drawings with strong technical knowledge and detailing skills.

• Positive attitude with proven proficiency in working collaboratively within a team setting in a fast-paced environment

• Strong work ethic, someone who takes responsibility for their own work, and who can work efficiently, with accuracy, with minimal supervision, is a must.

• A self-motivated individual capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects and who, in particular, is interested in long-term employment and growing with the firm

• This is a full-time position, local candidates only need to apply. Part-time positions will also be considered for contract work.

Responsibilities:

• Attend meetings with clients, consultants, contractors and vendors as required

• Capable of coordinating with the structural engineer’s drawings

• Participate in the design phase development

• Organize and prepare design and construction drawings

• Participate in the development and maintenance of the CAD libraries, standards, and procedures

• Field measure and draw existing conditions for renovation and addition

• Conduct existing conditions surveys and prepare architectural base plans, sections, elevations and details as appropriate to document relevant conditions
